I'll be back for a rest - haven't really had a holiday, just taxiing my peeps about, cleaning carpets and being generally 'helpful' Not massively though - there was an odd glass or two involved. Anyhoo - last day 'off' today so me and the bearded bloke went to Ardardan Farm in Cardross for a cuppa and this little lad was wanting his photo taken! A real poser he was.
First job tomorrow is to hang up Linda's gorgeous hand dyed 4 ply - got a fresh supply of this local wool (Strathearn Fleece and Fibre) and waiting for my Ewe and Ply dk to arrive (spun at New Lanark Mills this one) - am knitting bunting with my sample bits, a lovely, meaty, British wool to knit with. Other new yarn = Rowan - the alpaca classic, 4ply merino to go with some gorgeous baby designs and new colours in their merino silk... and some alpaca blend sock.
Happy knitting everyone - Knit and Natter on Monday 6th in Drymen Library - all welcome!
